Defensive Pistol 1
Our Defensive pistol class will build upon a foundation of familiarity and comfort in presentation from a holster, and will work on the development of speed and reflexive gun handling skills. Drills will include: drawing from a rapid cadence, initiating the presentation sequence while in motion, threat identification, defensive accuracy, support hand shooting, rapid reloads, cover fundamentals, and basic malfunction drills.

Defensive Pistol 2
Module II of our pistol course will include all of the basic technical requirements of the first…..and kick it up to the next level with SMS (Speed, Movement, and Stress). We will focus on scenarios that range from classically anticipated threats like robbery and urban attacks….as well as techniques that will focus on the engagement of active shooters and multiple threat engagements. Class will cover: moving while shooting, maximizing cover, continuity of fire, CQB skills, weapon retention at contact distance, controlling a downed hostile, basic team tactics, clearing corners and simple structures, and the incorporation of non-combatant family into your overall defense plan.

Combat Shotgun
This course focuses on the safe employment of the standard shotgun and will introduce tactics used for patrol, home defense, and CQB. Students will learn the correct fundamentals and procedures with the shotgun. This is a hands on course and most of the time will be spent on the range. Topics covered will include: weapon selection, essentials, patterning, rapid reloads, combat stance, sling employment, movement, CQB techniques, continuity of fire, shooting on the move, ammunition selection, cover drills, basic team tactics, transitions to sidearm, and storage.

• 50 Rounds 00-Buck
• 50 Rounds Birdshot
• 10 Defensive Slugs
Intro To Practical Carbine
The first module of the Practical Carbine will incorporate all of the elements of the “Combat Mindset” in a course that is designed to introduce the student to methods enabling the effective deployment of his or her carbine. Topics covered will include: properly zeroing your weapon, basic carbine familiarization and manipulation, basic range safety, marksmanship fundamentals, rapid reloads, malfunction diagnosis in the field, skill drills, and basic firing positions.

Advanced Practical Carbine
Module II of our carbine course will include all of the basic technical requirements of the first…..and kick it up to the next level with SMS (Speed, Movement, and Stress). Because there is no victory to be had by an open static position, we will now build upon your carbine fundamentals with the introduction of drills that cover: the emphasis of movement during engagements, finding and employing proper cover, controlled follow up shots to maximize threat control, basic team tactics, failure to stop (armor) drills, multiple target engagement drills, basic room and corner clearing techniques, and transition drills (sidearm). All will be performed at a more rapid pace then basic, with the element of weapon failure and malfunction clearing, and we will do the best we can to simulate the stresses you will experience in a combat scenario.
